2 x - 3 *3 = 7

2 x = 7 + 9

2 x = 16

x = 8

x + y = 14

4 x + 3 y =  48

x = 14 - y

4 ( 14 - y ) + 3 y = 48

56 - 4 y + 3 y = 48

- y = 48 - 56

- y =  - 8

y = 8

x + 8 = 14

x = 6
