- ( famous ): adjectif long qui forme son superlatif : the most + adjectif

"the most famous song" ( La chanson la plus célèbre )

- ( great ): adjectif court qui forme son superlatif : the + adjectif-est

" the greatest living poet" ( Le plus grand/le meilleur  poète vivant )
