Négatif et interrogatif au prétérit

on emploie le prétérit de l'auxilaire "do" qui est did. L'auxilaire étant déjà conjugué, les verbes reprennent leur Base Verbale.

Attention = I saw => I didn't see. Did I see ?

Les réponses courtes se forment après "Yes" ou "No" + virgule + pronom sujet représentant le sujet, + auxiliaire.

Après NO, la négation est toujours contractée

BE étant un auxilaire, il se suffit à lui-même.
